So much to see & do nearby ...
Villa Mimosa is only 6 minutes from Calistoga, with its world class restaurants and geothermal hot spring spas. Here at the north end of the Napa Valley there are many world-class wineries within a mile of the villa. We have made special arrangements for wine tours and tastings at these wineries..
Built in the 1940s, this location was once a roadhouse with rumors of a bordello upstairs! It became a rowdy beer hall serving the locals in the 60s and 70s and later a no fuss B&B.
The whole building has been totally remodeled, and now houses the 3 B&B rooms, an owner's suite and an onsite manager's suite ... with special emphasis on outdoor living spaces that take advantage of the spectacular views and peaceful setting.
Villa Mimosa's new serene attitude is embraced by the big Mimosa tree located at the entry area. Mimosa trees are known in China as the "Tree of Happiness" because of their calming herbal properties. We loved its soothing fragrance and fluffy pink flowers so much we named the B&B after it.
